Alex found himself starting to write songs very shortly after he got his first guitar…
About 3 days after his 14th birthday.
Since then, he has found a style very much his own.
Influenced heavily by the Pittsburgh FM radio stations in the early 1990’s. His main influences include Hootie and the Blowfish, Goo Goo Dolls, The Gin Blossoms, and his hometown heroes The Clarks.
After traveling around the East Coast as a professional chef for the better part of 8 years, gathering stories from Washington DC, New York, Atlanta, Sea Island (Georgia), and Tallahassee;
Alex found his new home in Nashville, Tennessee.
He may be a Nashville Songwriter, but his heart’s home and inspiration will always be the rolling mountain foothills of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
