These were taken by Pittsburgh elite photographer, Elise Michaux, during an Impromptu post-Christmas shoot last year.
Elise Michaux is nothing less than a prodigy behind a camera.

On December 26th 2019, I called a Connellsville Native, grade-school friend, Collegiate schoolmate, and true sister in all of life’s many trials: Elise Michaux.
”Hey, Elise! Do you have any open time for a shoot this week?”
”Actually Tink, I have time tomorrow; and the weather should be Perfect! Where are you thinking? Pittsburgh?”
”Actually, E… I have a different idea.”
After crossing a freezing cold creek, climbing up a very steep wooded incline, wet socks, two backpacks, and adrenaline pumping; she would catch a breath and say “Anything for the shoot!”
Her talent behind a camera is only surpassed by her passion to use the talents God gave her.

“Just do what’s natural.”

Elise would look at me and say: “Just do what’s natural.”
It seemed so simple. Almost TOO simple.
Just be myself. Happy. In the the Hills of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
In a Coke Oven. With my Dream Guitar. Playing my own music.
If living a dream is “Natural”… Then I’m going to give you the same advice Elise gave to me.
